Albert Lichtblau

Albert Lichtblau (* 1954) is an Austrian historian. He is Professor of Contemporary History at the University of Salzburg, Head of the Department of History and Deputy Head of the Center for Jewish Cultural History. Albert Lichtblau has long been concerned with Jewish history and in particular the history of anti-Semitism, but not only: He has published and researched housing policy, tenant protest, the history of minorities and immigration. From 1987 to 1989, Albert Lichtblau was a research associate at the Center for Anti-Semitism Research at the TU Berlin. Currently he teaches about the African state of Ghana, but also about "Queer History". In 2017, he curated the exhibition on the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the State of Israel.
