Heinrich Spängler
Heinrich Spängler was born on February 9, 1945 in St. Gilgen. In 1964 he joined the family business Bankhaus Spängler. Since 1 July 2010, he has been Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bankhaus Carl Spängler & Co AG and Spängler IQAM Invest GmbH. Heinrich Spängler was the treasurer of the "Friends of the Salzburg Festival" from 1995 to 1999 and has been its president since 1999. During his tenure, the "Friends" contributed € 3.5 million to the "House for Mozart", another € 3.2 million to the roof of the Felsenreitschule and a further six-figure euro amounts for renovation work.
