Only in the Tree of Survivors there are more honorees (89, including offspring) than in the APC tree (62). It's easy to explain why there are so many in the APC tree, because there are already 12 years that APC exists and during this period of time people have emerged who helped shape or implement our tasks.
They were organizers, doctors, mountain guides at the APC Peace Hike and people caring for refugees, some were involved in APC cultural projects, and many have generously supported us with donations or realized humanitarian projects that have been important to us for years. Others have again contributed with great voluntary commitment to survivors in Saalfelden, in the graphic design of our brochures or in our project "Music connects". They all more than deserve to be honored.
Over the years, the circle of people with whom I feel friends has been extended so that I can feel richly gifted. This APC Tree in particular is a symbol of my gratitude. I appreciate everything that each individual has contributed, because nothing in life is self-evident. It is a great concern and a special pleasure for me that I am allowed to act as one of the founders of Tree # 49.
