Regine Kappeler, is justifiably called the "mother of refugees". It is admirable how she manages her group of 15 to 20 asylum seekers to participate in the APC Peace Hike every year, accommodates them, takes care of them and inspires selected asylum seekers to speek publicly about their experiences at Windbachalm at 1882m above sea level. This moment is one of the highlights of the entire APC event. The entire organization of the trip to Krimml this group is up to her and she does it with great skill. She deserves all our respect!
