Rainer Prohaska met APC activist Peter De Bruin in 2015 and learned about the history and objectives of Alpine Peace Crossing. APC's ambition to publicize the tragic past of Jewish refugees from 1947, to connect them with those still alive today and to engage their families in the peace dialogue and migration, as well as the great social commitment of today's refugees, has motivated to join APC. In the fight for the inviolability of human rights, for the diversity of the people, for the equality of man and woman, for a social coexistence, as well as against fascism, fake news and indoctrinations of any kind, he has found many like-minded people in APC.
