Ulrich Seidl

Born 1952 in Vienna (Austria), director, author and producer. Ulrich Seidl began his career with award-winning documentary films such as “Good News” (1990), “Tierische Liebe” (1995) or “Models” (1998). With his feature film debut “Hundstage” he won the Grand Prix of the jury at the Venice Film Festival in 2001. After "Import Export" (2007), the first film Seidl produced with his own production company, he created his successful, award-winning “PARADIES” trilogy (2012). The resulting films were premiered in the competitions of Cannes, Venice and Berlin. This was followed by “Im Keller” (2014) and “Safari” (2016).
